Kids we don't even know are skipping school and we sound like our next step is going to be to tell them it's important to learn and do their best, you know?

You could call the school! They'll probably just send some robots out to check on things, but the kids are usually gone by then. They're smart enough to not hang out for too long.
You seem like a really great person, so I'm not surprised you have fans! Even if all the letters aren't as um, friendly as they could be. I'm sure you've got a lot of regular people that like you, too.
