[Rei and Athena had arranged a followup meeting after the whole nightmare that'd led her down a very, very nasty road full of self doubt. And it was something she'd actually been looking forward to. A chance to actually talk about Athena for once, to get to know her bubbly friend instead of just being the one to open up. IT would be good, she felt, and she'd been in fairly high spirits the past couple days for a number of reasons. Ami, Phobos, Deimos...it was an odd set of reunions, and one that left her genuinely optimistic for the evening to come.

So, after work, Rei's waiting outside the hospital with a basket held in the crook of her arm. And on her shoulders, peering curiously at the entrance and waiting for the 'friend' are a pair of large, black crows.]
