[ Even when she said she'd listen, even when he'd asked her to listen she can't and it's an awful reminder of how she really just does deserve someone who will always be happy. Someone whose life hasn't been filled with a destiny so great it wears down on them to the point where they potentially do this to escape too.
It isn't hard to pick up on the signs when she starts murmuring to herself, when her hand goes to that bracelet that she's still wearing, just as promised. It's so hard to raise his hand, tears coming out harder because he's to blame for this.
Maybe he should have just let her go.
