she squirms a bit, laughing. ] Hey, that tickles. [ but it doesn't seem like she's stopping him. and she's noticed that he isn't really paying that much attention to the play, and while it doesn't worry her that much, she still wants to know why. ]

[ He wouldn't expect a positive reaction after what England told him, don't worry. He's just used to things being different, where you didn't have to wait forever to express love like this. Or it feels like that, anyway.

He shifts only a little and stops with his finger, letting his hand rest there instead. ]

[ He'll just play with the hem of his jacket instead, unable to stay still for this long apparently. ]

I will. [ Though a good question, he just feels like he can get more emotion out of it by following how she reacts than the play itself... ah.

[ well, she'll try to watch the play again, but honestly her eyes keep darting back to him to see if he's okay and if he's watching... does he really think this play is boring? what is he even thinking?

times like these she wished she had magic or something so she could hear what he was thinking. ]

[ He tries to keep his eyes ahead this time though, but really it's probably more that the spa made him too relaxed to take it all in. He isn't really paying attention even though his watching, but hopefully doing this will get him more intune with it.




Only he's missed 3/4 of it already. Ah. ]

[ well, at least he doesn't have to wait long for it to end now?! and they're probably close to the final scene, anyway... and it's making athena tear up again. god, why. ]

[ Yeah, who knew? Though really it makes sense these kinds of stories span different species. He lets her go along for the emotional ride, only moving when the curtains close for good. He had started to doze off honestly, but managed to catch himself just in time. ]

We should be able to get a taxi back as well, they aren't that expensive compared to the train, and I don't feel like walking after the spa.

You don't have to, the whole point of this was to show you how grateful I am that you didn't go away after everything. I mean... you hit me, but that was deserved.

[ He moves to pull her to her feet. ]

He makes no complaint about her clinging onto his arm though, instead leaning to kiss her cheek before they leave the booth. He picks up their bags then heads outside to hopefully find another taxi. Not like it takes too long with how busy Cerealia is at times.

[ well, seeing as they have no place else to go, she puts widget back on once they're in the taxi. it lights up immediately, but doesn't say anything. (thank god.) ]

[ she doesn't let him answer, though, because she's continuing straight away. ]

I just... [ He waits for her to get comfy again, picks at his trousers and tie. ] ...wanted to make sure you were happy with it. That they were good choices. It isn't like either of them really exist where I'm from so-- [ ...Now he's just flustered. ]
