athena and apollo adventures: part 1

[ today is a weekend, and nobody's supposed to be at the wright anything agency, but athena's made her way in with her key and is just sitting on the couch and reading some stuff on widget.

a weekend as it may be, athena's got a packed schedule for the day. shopping for groceries (it's tough when you're living alone!), visiting the aquarium for some animal therapy, going to the library to study some, and that's just the start of her day. in the afternoon, she plans on heading to the gym to do some light workouts, and what a good way to train in her martial arts form by asking her colleague apollo to join her!

and also to carry her bags. so she's waiting for him now at the agency. athena's gone a bit too excited for today since she's never really spent time with apollo outside of work-related scenarios, so she got there extra early. ]

[Apollo leaves his bike chained up in its usual place outside the agency, stopping short in the doorway when he sees Athena's already waiting for him.]

You're early. [Checking the clock on the wall makes him raise his brows in surprise.] Really early. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to get this whole trip over with.

[Though some time's passed since the trial where they'd exposed the Phantom, some guilt over his treatment of Athena still lingers in the back of Apollo's mind. He knows he had been following his gut, doing his best to learn the truth, but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel awful over suspecting a friend in the first place. That guilt is exactly what had made Apollo jump at the opportunity to spend some time with her, and lend a hand when she needed it. He's got to make it up to her somehow.]
