[Phoenix pauses for a moment as the drama of his entry dies down, and then his shoulders slump as he faces the robot.]

...Clonco? You're not Athena! What are you doing here?!

Athena is at Simon's apartment!

[ he spins around again, waving his hands about. ]

What?! Oh no...

[He turns to leave, but then he looks back at Clonco for a moment.]

Are you alright, Clonco?

Athena made me happy earlier! Clonco is o-kay!

[bewrightback]

[Now he points right at Clonco.]

Great!! Clonco, please stay that way!

[Phoenix then dashes out the doorway.

...Then he returns, props the door back up and dashes off towards Simon's apartment. Is the door open or intact there]

And so Phoenix dashes right in through the open doorway and points again! ...But this time, he's out of breath.]

[ she gets up from the couch, obviously startled. her eyes are pretty red, too. meanwhile, taka flies away and perches on phoenix's head. ]

[But then he notices Taka's on his head and starts freaking out.]

GAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

[ yeah, she doesn't know what to do about taka, either... but she tries to call him over, anyway. at the very least, taka doesnt't seem to want to hurt phoenix. ]

T- Taka, come over here. It's just boss, okay?

[ yeah, okay. taka will fly over to perch on the couch's backrest, now. you got lucky today, phoenix!!! ]

[ she calls back about an hour or so later. there's tiredness in her tone, but she tries to be chipper for myriam. ]

Hey there. You wanted to talk to me?

[she'd answer immediately like she had been waiting for the call same as always]

Heeeey, Athena! How're you doing? Um...

[pause]

Yeah! I wanted to... I wanted to ask you something.

I've been sleeping all day... for a few days now, really. But I'm fine.

[ haha, no, she's not. ]

I... sorta heard this... joke... going around. I wanted to know if you'd heard it.

[she'd exhale, and take a deep breath]

So, uh, there's this... girl, see. And this girl, she has a friend... and apparently this friend is in some sort of... danger? Yeah, danger, or something... From an unknown but real source. Apparently.

And apparently this friend is sorta dumb. So she can't just tell her outright, so she makes up some weird sort of lie so the friend will do something else.
