I was wondering if you might be able to teach me a bit more on the subject of communicating through text on these devices. I've seen many more faces than the one I know [ :D ] and wonder if there is more I am missing in my knowledge.

There's pretty much an emoticon for every feeling ever :D You don't have to use them. Some people don't! It makes them sound more serious, though. And sometimes, it's scary :o

Her faces are more complicated, I believe she uses Japanese Characters in her own.
