[Just gals being pals, yep. The boss, a zombie Montezuma that shoots lightning is pretty easy to deal with. It's still a zombie...

And with it down, there's a new bit of trouble for our heroes. A gigantic door with two discs in the floor, side by side. It seems like a complex lock puzzle.]

These look like pressure plates.

[She steps onto one, and there's a click.]

[Rei takes a step. And the door swings shut.] I thought that might happen.

You could put your bag on the sensor, then. And... I'll put the shotgun on mine! Maybe their weight will be enough to open it again?

[ she steps to the side and prepares to run, then. ]

[Rei nods once she's settled and the door is open, and when Athena leaves, the door remains open! Inside the room immediately is a heavy metal brace that seems like it can prop the door open if Athena hits a lever. Or she can keep the treasure to herself?]

I guess it's meant to be a trust game? I mean, a lot of people wouldn't want to let someone else in first.

I guess so! And it's not like I have a problem trusting my friends— [ so once she's inside, she's pulling that lever. COME TO HER, REI!!!! ]

[Scooping up her bag, she heads inside and voila! The championship bell sounds, tape and party poppers explode all around them, and the game dissolves.]

[ once they're back in the vivid game room, athena immediately hugs rei! ]
