Though ah... he isn't flustered, not really, even though his teeth do chomp down on his lip. He's trying to not grin stupidly. ] I wouldn't say anything, I'd just be really happy.

[ she looks away and crosses her arms. damn this guy!! why is he winning this argument!!! ]

But you know I don't just like you because of how you look, right? There's just so many things about you that make my heart leap.

[ throws up from how gross this is. ]

[ Because it takes specific things to make him flustered. His gaze softens when she replies though. ]

I know. It'd be a bit weird if it was. It's the same with you. [ Are you ready... ] You're always caring about others, even if you can be stubborn about it, you're so lively and warm, you always try so hard, even if you might not always get what you want.

she's literally out of words now, so she bends down until he's in between her stretched arms. and he kisses him on the lips. it's not a quick one, either. maybe some light biting on his lower lip, too.

Though this is exactly what he meant before, there doesn't need to be a response with words, thoughts can be said and not replied to and he won't exactly mind. He doesn't know what to expect at first when she stays silent and instead bends down to kiss him.

His eyes shut as he tries to not smile against her mouth, even when his breath hitches as her teeth press into his lip and his head tilts a bit. He keeps his weight on one arm, the other reaching up to press against her neck, holding her in place with a gentle touch. ]

[ her kiss turns a bit more passionate, as if she's hungry. it's not forceful by any means, but she does try to get a bit more control by placing one of her hands on his shoulder, pinning him down.

though if he feels uncomfortable by any means, he should already know that he should say something. ]

[ It's fine. He's fine. There's a faint gasp of surprise against her mouth as he feels the pressure sink in, but he makes no move to stop her. In fact, the hand on that side brushes against her arm. It's light, but hopefully not too light that she can't feel it through the jacket.

He copies the motion she did, teeth pressing into her lip, nibbling just slightly. ]

[ she does feel it, and she takes that as a sign to keep nibbling. THERE IS NO TONGUE ACTION YET HERE, FOLKS. SORRY.

athena's shy... though when merlin does nibble on hers, she breathes out a soft laugh. ]

[ STOP TALKING LIKE PEOPLE ARE READING THIS... though it's weird to keep feeling it like this. To feel teeth digging in between kisses and eventually his teeth concentrate on her lower lip until he accidentally almost tugs on it because she laughs. He flusters slightly, hand shifting to curve over her back, a soft: ] sorry- [ slipping out. ]

What? [ she laughs just as well. and presses her forehead against his. ] No, it's nothing.

[ how can she say something is fun without it sounding like it's all it ever is? there's a lot more to kissing than it being fun, of course. it's because she likes him and each kiss shows how much she does. . . ]

[ was that it? ]

[ He bites his own lip then, looking up at her as though that will make this any weirder. Not a bad weird, by all means, but it's strange how sensitive your mouth can feel when it's someone else digging their teeth into the skin. ]

Good. [ He exhales and lets his hand slide down along her back, palm flattening out.

This time when he tries to lean up to kiss her it's slightly open mouthed, capturing her lower lip in a soft kiss, pressing down then slowly peeling his mouth away. ]

Are you-- [ He clears his throat, swallowing at the strange tone to his voice when it gets a little louder than before. ] --comfortable enough?

[ she shifts down further until she's flopped on top of him again... similar to how she was when they went stargazing. what does this say? she's definitely comfortable enough. ]

I am. Don't worry too much about me.

[ she's not the one adjusting. ]

[ His arm shifts to curl over her shoulders, his other hand moving to slide through her hair instead. It's a lot warmer like this, with little space between them, but it's still peaceful. He's content. ] I could fall asleep like this. [ He says it with a bit of a laugh, just happy now. ]

[ truth be told, she could fall asleep like this as well. it would be hella uncomfortable upon waking up, but just being near him is so much worth it.

she pokes his nose, though, unable to hold back a smile. ]

Except you can't.

[ In turn, he scrunches it and tries to twist his head away. ]

Because you said so. [ MORE LIKE THE PLANETARIUM PEOPLE SAID SO ]

[ aw don't look so disappointed, merl. ]

There's always next time, yeah?

[ isn't it a good thing he looks disappointed??? ]

Next time. [ He peeks back at her. ] ...Rooftop?

[ she doesn't like it when he's disappointed!!! ]

Exactly.

[ Well, true... It's for a good reason though at least and not because they did something dumb again. Instead he rubs he hands along her back, shifts to kiss her forehead and sighs. ]

It's almost time to go.

[ Why isn't there ever enough time....... ]

[ she rolls to the side careful no to hit him or anything before sitting up again. ]

This was fun, though.

[ He pushes himself up after, rolls his shoulders a little to stretch out his spine and pulls up his knees. ]

It was. We should turn everything off before we leave though, right? Can you...?

[ Hopefully the staff will never know they were there. ]

[ she gets up, dusting off her skirt before nodding. ]

Yeah, I can do that. [ well, their bubble's been popped so no use being silent now.

she heads to the machinery. ]

Ready? It's going to be dark.

[ He holds up his palm, quietly casting a spell for a small light that just hovers there. ]

Only a little. Go ahead. [ He stands up then, keeping his hand in place so she can make her way back once it's all turned off. He'll have to drop the light when they leave the room to exit, but his eyes should be used to the darkness by then. ]
