[ she closes her eyes then and gives his hand a gentle squeeze. ]

Wake me up before you leave?

[ A small laugh bubbles up at that. ]

Will you give me a goodbye kiss?

[ of course she will?!?? why does he even have to ask. ]

Nah, I'll just mess up your hair.

[ It was supposed to be teasing?! But look where that got him :< ]

That's fine. Then when people ask why I look like I just got out of bed I can blame you.

[ IT SOUNDS WORSE THAN HE MEANS........ ] No one will have to know I napped until 2pm.

[ she rolls to the side to face him, but with his eyes closed, he wouldn't see the goofy look on her face when she tries to hold back her laughter. ]

Alright. Sounds like a deal to me.

[ He can't see it, and he's already starting to doze off honestly. Didn't realise you were into letting people know these things though, Athena. okok. ]

[ as far as she's concerned she just won so it doesn't matter to her what the implications are. she does move a bit to kiss him on the forehead when he hums like that. then she lets go of his hand and rolls to face the other way and holds his hand again. ]

[ Ah... of course. He tries to nuzzle her when she kisses his forehead, but it's mostly fine when she twists around and he can curl against her back instead. That's much more comfortable than before. u//u ]

[ it really is comfy uwu!! and she ends up sleeping like a rock like this. she's just been so tired these past few days, so worried about him and not being able to rest properly. when he does wake up and has to leave, he'll have to shake her to get her to wake up again. ]

[ His arm is a little dead when he does wake up, and it's probably a little later than he intended, but it's fine. It's fine. He does try to wake her up with soft kisses and murmurs at first though of course. She's still holding onto his hand, unwilling to let go.

So he gives her a light shake. ] Athena... wake up.

[ that does wake her up but she only moves to roll and lie on her belly, taking his hand with her. ]

Mm?

[ There's a small strangled noise as she pulls his arm, having to shift with her so he covers her back so she doesn't pull it out of its socket. ]

Athena?

You're so warm.

[ she exhales rather loudly, clearly comfortable with this. but, ah. ]

[ That's a little embarrassing but he's still trying to wiggle his arm free. ] Athena... i have work.

[ she lets go of him then and rolls over to look at him. ]

[ Well he's still half propped over her from when she pulled his arm but he gives a small smile. ]

You can go back to sleep if you want? [ He gives her arm a small rub. ]

[ not that she wants him to, though :( ]

[ He bites the corner of his lip then, half smiling. ]

I need to change. [ aka keep your eyes shut gurl?? ]

[ she shuffles to get out of bed then. ]

I'll go out.

[ He blinks at that. ]

[ on the way out, she grabs widget and her cerevice. she doesn't say anything before opening the door and leaving. she'll let him have his privacy!! ]

[ He waits until she's gone before moving to change his clothes for work. It doesn't take too long all things considered, mostly because he goes to clean his teeth and wash after. It means their poor foxes have to finally stop cuddling too though :( ]

[ she flops on her belly on the couch and reads through the network while he's doing his thing. lots of people have been posting about the recent events, and it's not amusing her in the slightest. ]
