[ it makes her blood boil, that somebody she actually knows threatened merlin like that. as if being threatened by the flamines wasn't enough already. it just hurts all the more because she knows what archer is capable of. and while she trusts in merlin, archer could have probably injured him if they did end up in a confrontation.

she wouldn't be able to forgive archer if such a thing happened. she can't even forgive him now for talking to merlin like that. ]

[ He doesn't know what she's thinking, but he can tell she's keeping it to herself. It's hard to want to talk in a situation like this, but he tries. ]

[ she can tell that the air around them's gone awkward, but as always, it was her fault anyway, so she at least tries to lighten the mood again. ]
