[For some reason, Athena is getting a call from someone. And by the sounds of it, it's for something pretty serious.]

Uh, hey... This is Athena Cykes, right? I'd like to interview you about something, if you don't mind.

[psycholawgy]

[ ... yeah, I know this voice. ]

Are you the guy in my dream?

[terci]

Yeah, I-- wait, in your dream? [Huh...]

[psycholawgy]

I recognise your voice but-- [ She just laughs sheepishly. ] I'm not weird, I swear!

[terci]

Huh... [Though it can't be seen, Dipper taps a pen against his chin while he speaks.]

What did the guy in your dream look like? It's not like I don't believe you or think you're weird or something, I just want to make sure that I was absolutely in your dream last night. [Whether she agreed to it or not, it looks like he's got his interviewer cap on.]

[ THAT'S DESCRIPTIVE ENOUGH, RIGHT? ]

And then... he got his body stolen.

...Yeah, that sounds like me. [Body stolen.. yikes. Out of all the things she could've seen...]

Hey do you wanna maybe, um.. talk about this in person? I have a lot of questions and it'd probably be easier than talking like this.

[psycholawgy]

[ She's already clued in that he likely saw something of her, too. So she sounds surprised and now she feels the urgent need to meet him, too. ]

I work at the cosplay cafe and I'm actually on my way there now. Do you think you can meet me there, or would a more private place be better?

[terci]

No, that's fine. They have tables there, right? We can sit somewhere near the back or something. [He writes something down in a notepad, quiet for a moment as he does so.]

... Where is the cosplay cafe, again?

Alright, but make sure you order some food!

[ Yay business. :D ]

We're near the market place. You won't miss it, there's a girl outside wearing a dog outfit.

[terci]

A.. dog outfit. Right. [Jotting that down.]

Okay, then I'll get going. You.. already know what I look like, so I guess I'll just see you there?

[And after jotting down a few notes and details, Dipper heads off towards the cafe. He made sure to bring money so he could order food, as she told him to, and once he arrives, he finds himself a nice window seat near the back, away from other customers.

When she finds him, he'll be doodling in a small notepad that he brought, trying to keep his eyes away from the cute maids and servers around.]

[ Athena was out back dressing up when Dipper had arrived, so when she comes out, she looks for him! She's wearing a regular maid outfit of the Japanese variety today, and her hair is tied up into a high side ponytail.

She approaches Dipper with a smile on her face, and her right hand extended to him. ]

Nice to meet you.

[May or may not be regretting the decision to go to a cosplay cafe. If only he knew what it would entail... but business is business, there is no time to get embarrassed!]

Oh, yeah. You too. [He takes her hand happily, and gives it a shake.]

I don't think I actually introduced myself earlier, and you probably already know my name but I'll say it anyway! My name's Dipper Pines, and I'm a totally professional Mystery Hunter and Paranormal Investigator, and this phenomenon with us both dreaming about each other the same night is just the thing that needs investigating.

oh! i didn't even notice, automatically assumed voice... WOW

[ She's so totally pinged now. ]

COUGHS INTO HAND its okay it.. never happened...

Really? [He looks pretty surprised, before flipping pages in his notepad to jot that down.]

Do you think this happened to us because someone heard that we were investigators? Maybe there's something serious happening here that needs to be covered up but.. they'd probably do something worse if that were the case, huh? [After a moment of hard thinking in silence, he remembers his manners and gives her a smile, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.]

Sorry, I'm starting to get a little ahead of myself, hahah.. do you have the time for an interview? I mean, I know we said we'd meet up here but you're working right now, aren't you...

[ She takes a seat across Dipper. ]

Well, I'm actually a lawyer!

[ PRESENT > ATTORNEY'S BADGE. ]

So I do a bit of investigating in my cases, myself. But I'm no detective, and I don't think we do the same stuff.

And yeah, just ask me anything! I can't keep secrets, anyway. [ Her smile falters there, then she just laughs sheepishly. ]

Oh, a lawyer? [Aww, that's a little disappointing. But still pretty cool, nonetheless!]

Huh. Well, lawyer or not this is still definitely weird! [He flips his pages a bit, to a list with questions.]

So uh, I guess let's start from the beginning. What exactly did you see in your dream? You said something about my body getting stolen, right? [He can only imagine one instance where that happened but there's been another time, and maybe it wasn't an exact memory or anything just.. a weird dream.]

[ She nods, then looks around to make sure none of the other patrons and waitresses are nearby. Then she leans in to whisper: ]

There was this pyramid guy... and a computer? It looked like a computer.

[terci]

[He visibly winces at that, and begrudgingly writes it down.]

Ugh.. sorry you had to see that. But at least that clears up what kind of dream you had... it's really strange that you saw one of my memories, though. [Does that mean his dream was a memory too..]

By the way, if you ever meet that pyramid guy, don't under any circumstance let him into your mind. Obviously you've seen what kind of things he can do.. it's just not a good idea to get mixed up with him.

What exactly is that pyramid guy? Is he some kind of alien? A Flamine?!

Well, he calls himself "a being of pure energy with no weakness", but I'd say he's more like a demon. He lives in something called the "dreamscape", only existing on the same plain of the mind. He enters dreams, he can steal memories and as you saw, take over bodies.. I don't know what else he's capable of, but I'm sure he's got a lot more power than what I've seen. [It scares him to think of what else Bill could do to someone...]

Here, I've got a little bit of information about him from someone else who had an encounter with him before. [He pulls out a journal from under his vest, flipping the pages for a moment, before setting it in front of her to show this entry.]

[psycholawgy]

[ Looking at it very intensely, and clicks on her necklace to take a picture of it. There's a clicking noise and the screen of it flashes red once. ]

I'll remember that. He seems scary.

Is there anything else I should know?

[terci]

About Bill? Not really. I mean, I don't really know that much more about him myself, so I couldn't tell you anything else even if I wanted to. [He shrugs.]

Just remember to never trust him no matter what he says, and if he doesn't leave you alone then tell me and I'll get rid of him for you.
