[ He pushes himself to sit up then, placing her hands on the sides of the boat. He gives her a small smile, before murmuring Astyre. His eyes flash gold then slowly the boat starts to move in a circle, drifting off course from before. ]

[ she looks around frantically as the boat starts moving on its own. it's been some time since she found out that merlin has magic, but it still astonishes her every time he uses it. ]

[ He just grins at her when she looks around, clearly surprised when they start moving without the need for the oars. ]

So... [ His hands move to cover hers and he leans over to kiss her cheek. ] Stop trying to row us off to the moon, okay?

[ why is he so rude!!!! it just makes her all the more flustered. ]

You can't. [ He leans back to give her a cheeky smile ] Seems like you're stuck with me here, doesn't it?

[ He lifts both eyebrows, looking confused but really they both know he's just teasing her. Ah. ]

[ but ah... it's really nice to just argue about stupid things and not have a care in the world. ]

[ The boat wiggles a bit as he shuffles closer to her, hands sliding up her arms to finally cup her face. ]

Why would I want to do that?

[ why!!! is he being!!!! so difficult!!! she only puffs her cheeks when he cups her face and then blows some air onto his face like an angry child. take that!!!!!! ]

[ Well... That's rude. His eyes shut to escape air being blown there, but he's lauing when she stops. ]

Now who is being insufferable? [ Before she can open her mouth to respond though he's pulling her towards him so he can give her a kiss. ]

[ he can't just do things like that either!!

she gives him a look when the kiss ends, making another jab at his side again. ]

We're going nowhere with this conversation.

[ He can and just did! What of it?

Though he does jerk away a little when she jabs his side. Rude. ]

[ he was rude first! ]

[ He doesn't even get why she's mad at this point, so he pulls back, and just lets the boat start sailing back to the shore. He stays quiet then, though. Not even saying anything to that and instead concentrates on keeping it steady. ]

[ she isn't mad!! but he's being too playful when she wants to quit it already, that's all :(

the fireflies follow them back to shore, and athena tries to even grab one but it flies away before she can trap it between her palms. annoying!! ]

Ah, no!

[ Because he was happy :( now though... He just goes to sort out the boat to make sure it won't float off then he concentrates on the lake and tries to get the oars back out so she won't be charged for them. It's actually more draining than he expects, but after a few attempts they're safety put with the boat, and Athena is saved from a 300 credit bill. ]

[ ?!?!?! cue athena to be even more amazed. she didn't even know he could do something like that. which is why she shakes him once the oars are safe. ]

Merlin! Can you fly?!

[ Athena he's moved 48583939 objects since you met him, why is this such a surprise? What is surprising is her shaking him and asking that wuestion. What the-- ]

she does let go when he asks her to, though. ]
