she does however reach for his neck so she can wrap her arms around it. may as well get relaxed like this. ]

though ah, that's nice. He just lets his own arms drape over her and relaxes. His eyes close, fully intending to try and nap now, honestly. ]

[ he can relax all he wants but in the meantime, athena's going to just listen to his heartbeat. and maybe even push herself up a little bit so she can look at him while his eyes are closed. ah... this isn't creepy at all. ]

It's a minute or two after that he cracks one eye open to look at her, because that sure is nerve wrecking. ]
