[ it might come off as surprising, but it still is something she thinks about every now and then. it's a dream: to have a fancy outdoor wedding and she'd be wearing this beautiful gown... and he'd be waiting down the aisle. it can be on the beach or in a forest or even just in the gardens. it's... still something.

when he kisses her back, she only moves closer to him. they're already close enough but she basically presses her body against his, while both her hands move to cup his face.

[ He has 0 idea of any of that though, because England had assured him that most couples wouldn't consider marriage for even more months than 6 onward. They're over half of that, but not much more. Even if they've been through a lot, shared a lot and have been so close... he doesn't expect her to react so positively to it.

It makes his heart soar a little actually, gives him a bit of hope despite being dazed as fuck because she just kissed the living daylights out of him. His lips still stay parted even as his eyes try to open enough to look at her. He probably looks as dazed as he feels. ]

[ well it really doesn'f have to be any time soon, in fact they really should wait a few more years but she's really never felt like this before. she's never been in love before. who knows what the future will bring but right now she does believe that merlin is the only one for her and it's why she thinks marrying him is okay. ]

It's a split of love and lust that makes him tilt his face away, skin flushed with embarrassment because she's adorable, but also... really hot.

His heart won't be the only thing bursting at this rate. Ah. ]

[ Nah... he's just from way further in the past, Athena. Things worked differently, even sharing a bed like this would be a taboo, but he doesn't want to give that up either.

The water running this time isn't for the shower though, and it's for a much shorter time before he comes back out. His hair is a bit wet from where he's washed his face and he looks a bit... windswept but it's all!!! fine!!!

He definitely seems less awkward now when he flops down on the bed on top of the covers and leans to kiss her cheek. ]

Did you want to go out for breakfast or order room service?

[ she'll try not to be awkward about this, at least. she just wishes he didn't have to kill the mood like that. talking to the fish didn't really help her much because it didn't talk back. ]
