[ the receptionist at the restaurant just waves at merlin cheerily when he looks back, though. ]

I mean, it was already awkward before, but they didn't have to do that.

[ but, whatever!! she's breathing fine now, so she adjusts her side ponytail and dusts off her dress. ]

Do you want to go back now?

[ she's not sure if there's even anything to see in this hotel, but if he wants to look around, then they could do that. if he wants to go back to the room, then that's okay too. ]

[ He laughs out of a breath at that. ]

[ now she's just flustered again THANKS!! which is why instead of taking his hand again, she just crosses her arms and looks away with a pout. ]

Athena! [ He says it in a laugh that as she pulls him along, a lot more violently than before lbr. What a tsundere. A poor old alien lady tries to go in the elevator with them, but he closes the doors before she can--




--just so he can kiss her while they're in there. Ah. ]

[ oh my god that poor alien lady. she ends up yelling something like "YOU TWO AGAIN!" when the doors close. looks like she was the one at the spa who was hanging out in another pool when they were at the jacuzzi. ah.

the kiss does shut her up though, and she can't even stay even the least bit angry like this?!?!?! ]

With her staying quiet now though he's careful that she doesn't drop her bag when he nudges her back into the elevator wall. The box starts going up of course, but he's definitely distracted with kissing and pinning her there to even notice when it opens on another floor and another couple gawks at them.

[ he'll really have to be careful because when he pins her against the wall, she just goes weak. and really, she was about to kiss him in return when the doors open and. . . now things are awkward and merlin is unbelievably close and. and jesus. apparently.

it's why her brain switches on the emergency alarms and she panics, pushes him away, and scrambles to the other side where she can rapidly press the doors to close.

... but she also ends up pressing all the other floors before theirs. ]

[ ah... too late. He's a little surprised (more than a little, actually... why did you do the cake seduction if you're just going to get embarrassed Athena?! He just shrugs at the people at the elevator like this is Normal. The woman alien definitely looks shocked, but the guy gives him a thumbs up.

[ It's just a murmur though after the doors close and the lift goes up. He doesn't go anywhere near her now though :( ]

[ IF HE COULD HAVE SAVED IT FOR WHEN THEY GET BACK TO THE ROOM THEN IT'D BE FINE???

she lets out a sigh of relief once the doors close and just leans against the wall. this is tiring. ]

But alas... he just stares at the doors as they open on every floor now. ]

[ she just presses on the close door button every time there's a ding and the doors open. this is all his fault!!

once they finally get to their floor, she steps out and turns to look at him, walking backwards now. ]

It was fine until they showed up.

[ It is his fault ... but what do you expect when you look ravishing, get embarrassed and it feels like they finally have some privacy?!

Not to mention the cake seduction. Ah. He follows her out, only to end up stumbling over his own feet when she speaks, head shooting up to look at her.

[ she's slow in moving though, keeping her eyes on him before her hand slips into his back pocket to grab the key card. then she sticks her tongue out playfully before making a run to their hotel door to get it to open. ]

[ This time he can feel his own skin heat up with how she keeps her eyes on him while walking backwards. He opens his mouth to ask what she's doing, but then her hand is reaching to grab the keycard, and he looks back utterly confused after she sticks her tongue out and runs off.

...Jesus.

He doesn't run, but his steps quicken as he follows her down the hall towards their room, pushing at the door once he gets there because she's more than likely inside already. What is she doing?!?! ]

[ she wanted him to chase after her BUT WHY IS PLAYING HARD TO GET SO USELESS WITH THIS BOY!! AH!!!! but she really is useless, too. he'll find her on the floor face flat when he gets in. her shoes are right by the door as if they were taken off in a rush (they were) and she ended up tripping while doing so. . .

[ Because he didn't know what she was doing?!?!?!?! Pushing him away then trying to tease him isn't going to work???? Now he just feels bad for her when he finds her on the floor... Ah. ]

[ He side steps her shoes and quickly rushes to her side, trying to help her up. Bae... pls... ]

He checks her face once she's sitting up, and raises an eyebrow at her. ]
